Abigail Harper
South African born San Francisco native Abigail Harper has created a range of botanical and nature influenced prints that are hand etched. She trained with famed artist William Kentridge in South Africa and now makes prints simply for the love of it. "My work is primarily concerned with my ties to this country and the harsh, enduring beauty of its landscapes, particularly the Atlantic coastline. I am fascinated by landscape as sites of collective memory, loss and renewal."

We bought this artwork at a local winery gift shop and are very happy to have found such a beautiful work of art. Although it depicts the South African coastline, it could easily be of the California coast where we live. Very satisfied purchaser!
